How common is it to switch departments or teams at UPS?

Happens often. People are shuffled around. The organization is getting better at listening to what their employees want to be doing at the company, but they still expect you to "be flexible" when you are "voluntold" to move to another position because THEY think it would be good for YOU.

Some. Every 2 years, all routes are put up for bid to give high senior drivers chance to change routes within the building you are assigned too. You cannot transfer to other cities.
