    While top level executives have good intentions for the organization, mid level management doesn't understand what it means to groom the next generation of leaders. Regretfully, the culture is that if you haven't come up through the UPS ranks, then you don't know UPS, and therefore your leadership potential is curtailed. Finally, to have a dissenting opinion in a management meeting is to invite jeers, snicker or sneers. In public Management (Mid or other) wants to hear what you have to say. Inside the office, its a "work as directed" attitude.

    Getting in the 401k the 1st day of eligibility. Would have bigger balance if I had joined 10 years earlier.

    That they were going to change the age of retirement as soon as I got close to it

    How hateful the atmosphere is. The supervisors are trained to cheat, rob, steal from the hourly employees.
