It's been brilliant, a mix of challenges, wins, promotions, responsibilities, growth and team culture. All of which has led to this being the longest I've stayed at one company!

Always an opportunity to learn something new, whether it's a new project, training or a new feature in the platform, it's never really a dull day.

Because the position I hold is high but I'm not based in the US, I know there are people more junior than me that are paid more

Cost of living has gone up and Chile's consumer price index increased, so would be great to see any pay raise this year help negate any extra costs we're faced with.

Constant dialogue, which doesn't mean we're always in agreement, it can sometimes take a few rounds until there's consensus, but this is an admirable trait and produces better results in the end

It's a noble cause making the internet safer for everyone, and it feels good working on projects that make it harder for threat actors to take advantage of our customers and their users.

There's a proper focus on teamwork, not only celebrating the wins together, but support each other above and beyond when things aren't so good, for example the security breach displayed this in bucket loads.

We all believe we're doing a good thing in the world and therefore the outcomes have that extra sweet feeling when a new feature, enhancement or update is delivered making the internet just that bit more secure for our customers and their users.
