I have been employed at Adelphoi for 15 years. There have been a lot of changes throughout the years. However, the rewards have been witnessing positive transformations in the youth in my care. That alone is the best experience.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Those identified in leadership value the efforts of each individual, and they reward us when possible.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all care about one another. We understand what each other are going through, and we work together to solve issues. The environment is respectful, but constructive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together towards a common goal, which always comes down to doing our best to provide the best opportunities for the youth and families in our care.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I am able to get my work completed with having minimal distractions. Also, by having daily interactions with the youth in my care, and being able to play basketball with them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Each part of the package is valuable. Life insurance and retirement options are great. We don't pay for our dental and eye insurance. And our health insurance is not that expensive compared to others I know outside of Adelphoi.
