Most of the time, i love Costco. But it could be so much better.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Were it not for the 20% who do 80% of the work- and actually care - I expect it would go under.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Its an autocracy, with serfs (hourly employees) at the bottom and lords (shareholders) on top. At every level, those on top must and do assert their authority via criticism of and dictating action to subordinates, regardless of impact and oblivious to more urgent needed changes. Change it all.
