Setting an example by following the policies and procedures they tell us about, by adhering to them when no one is looking. There great when the auditors are here or when there's a walk, however as soon as those people leave they go back to cutting corners

183: Stop creating a toxic environment as a means of coercing employees to work harder. Stop using subordinates as punching bags by screaming at and belittling as a means of releasing frustration. Stop harassment against women and LGBT workers. Stop promoting "buddies" that continue these habits.

If your part time or starting out it’s difficult. The supervisors and management take advantage of their employees. Make you work hard to make them look good for their bosses. Just don’t be cashier assistant and you’ll be good.

Management needs to care about our needs first off, they need to understand that we are over worked and under appreciated. We need additional bodies, that would cut down on stress and tension among us all. We need a more open, and communicative management team.

Less pressure should be put on individual employees to improve their relationships and environment. Emphasis should be placed on management to foster a healthy, suitable workplace as opposed to a toxic, hostile environment as a means of keeping employees under control. Managers encourage spying.

Costco corporate trainer once said that the toxic culture at 183 occurs at most Costco locations after some time. Some managers express the belief that high pay and benefits cause employees to act out. I believe Costco's toxic culture is institutionalized and truly is part of the company culture.

Members can be disrespectful and the volume can be overwhelming because under staffed. Supervisors take advantage of cashier assistants to make them look better. All position should be satisfying and be able to do it everyday without doubt of looking for another job.

Working outside can be harsh! Whether it’s hot or cold. Carts need to be easier to manage. Loading furniture. Running items back and forth. Members always coming up and say they don’t want the goods or other items anymore. Go backs can be excessive. Supervisors needs to better trained.
