I have worked in acute care my entire 20+ years prior to coming to CCH. CCH is definitely way ahead of the hospitals in work experience for employees. There are many days that I feel like this job is too good to be true.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
This has been the best 2.5 years of my career. I am very concerned about the longevity of the team I am managing and my own position because of the market changes. I feel like there is more we could know about what is being worked on to gain business.

Everything, everybody pitches in, we laugh together, we cry together

Everything. This is the best team and definitely the highest functioning team I have managed.

Success of my team, feeling as though I am helping nursing at a greater level
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have a Masters in Nursing and 10+ years of nursing leadership. My annual salary is low.

Kerry Torres exemplifies leadership, and she should be a mentor to all CCH new leaders and some of the longer-term ones could learn from her as well.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have a masters degree in nursing and 22+ years experience. I am not compensated at this level. However it is my choice to work in this role.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My leader truly values my input and this is the only company who does care about work life balance. Many companies say it but this one demonstrates the work life balance.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Upbeat, keep employees engaged, cares about employees. I had zero questions, texts, emails etc when my dad died suddenly. if I was still a director at the hospital, they would have called, texted, and emailed me the entire time I was with my family.
