Good. Do wish the vacation/sick leave days were increased to keep up with the market. Negative on not having an HR Dept to contact for answers without being transferred to the contracting company with is a MAJOR pain to try and get a person to answer questions!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
As an "older" worker they showed no age discrimination when it came to the hiring experience. The direct supervisor is friendly and accessible and quick to respond to any questions. She tries to hold monthly zoom meetings and keep us informed on company business and items which might effect us.

co-workers, non-stress as we have very few set deadlines

Work in a small group and all are friendly and work well together.

The small team which I communicate with are always friendly and very knowledgeable about their positions.

I have a great group of 5 other folks who all help each other and get along great.

My government office only has 2 contractors in my location. We are treated as part of the office team and included in communications/office social events.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Need to increase PTO/vacation/sick days. Need to compensate for unexpected days that Govt is closed which is at no fault to the employee but who does not get paid on those days if the Govt has closed.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Honestly, I have no clue who the leadership is above my immediate supervisor. As for those working on explaining benefits and how to get answers about benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, FCE, I am not impressed. Sending me to the contracting company handling those areas does not help.
