Many years ago when I started this job, it was amazing. Pay and people and work - all wonderful. That has dwindled in the last 10 years. The pay most significantly, but really feeling positive about the support we receive is more difficult now. We all value what we do for the people of the USA.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work well together and get along easily.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy the work I do and the people I do it with. The pay however should be much better.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been here for over two decades. My pay in the last decade has not kept up with even the basic standard of living.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My direct supervisor at FSA is fabulous. I do not have a relationship with upper management but I feel like we aren't as recognized as we used to be.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have some very good people here. Supportive and helpful and kind. Shutdown puts a damper on some of that but overall we have a pleasant environment here.
