On April 2nd 2024, GE Vernova reached a historic milestone as it officially commenced operations as an independent company.

When I joined GE in 2018 in the Netherlands I was very happy to work for GE, a global brand that was a huge player in my old hometown in the US. But when the Board made the decision to split the company apart I simply expected like other conglomerates that all 3 parts will be eaten by other business
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have a few teammates I can rely for help and support both in the office & outside work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My pay raises have not not kept up with inflation, I see my pay cover less & less every month.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The past. The change within our team, the company & the splits has torn the culture of the team and the larger company apart.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Currently I am in a placeholder position within GE Vernova for under 30 days, so I do not feel I can accurately comment on the leadership.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The genie cannot be put back in the bottle. The Board has made the decision and the ripple effects have caused major waves down to small teams like ours. All I can do is ride out the storm and see what is left when it is over.
