I've had 23 years in the same company, with 6+ roles. The opportunity to grow, and explore where my interest takes me is invaluable. Each business unit has a different culture, and that culture makes (or breaks) the experience of working there.
I've been with GE for around 25y, in a range of businesses / roles, with increasing seniority. I've followed my interests in my career, which keeps it fresh. In doing so, the connections I've made have grown with me, and I feel part of a GE community that is wider than my immediate business.
I love working with intelligent, sparky people.
It is the Final Salary Pension
The team are collaborative & motivated to succeed
Finding solutions for problems, then making them operational
Working with a team to identify a solution
They are professional, focused, approachable
Focused on the right things, communicate the direction well.
We're precisely that - a great team, focused on delivering
My immediate team are focused on delivering operationally, and passionate about improvement
They've set clear direction on the company spin, and the approach to get there.
The focus on integrity - in compliance, and also in culture and behaviour.
I have a fair salary for my seniority, supported by a good bonus and pension / healthcare package.
We enjoy what we do, and we have integrity. We don't tolerate poor integrity (bullying / bribing / discrimination) .
The numbers reign. Herculean efforts to resolve issues aren't celebrated - only the negative impact is taken into account, when it might have been much worse.
It was the final salary pension, but that was closed at the end of 2021. Now it's the combination of salary, bonus and benefits that can be taken flexibly.
