GoodLeap – I was told the this would be a great opportunity to help shape the organization while building great products but mostly, it feels like everyone caters to 1 executive (almost fearfully), and in the process they're always trying to showcase how they're smarter than everyone they hired. | Comparably

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The salary is fair and competitive

What are some of the best things about your team?

Diverse experiences to learn from

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

1) Hiring good people and then allowing them to do their jobs instead of micro-managing every decision. 2) Focus on creating an efficient organization/culture and not on products/features.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Learn from the employees that have experiences and backgrounds to help grow and shape the company. There's this attitude that our executives are "industry" leaders when many of us have worked in finance at banks and fintechs AND tech. We all bring experiences that the company can/should learn from .

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Lack of clear direction and no clear decision making processes. Over analysis on even the most basic of decisions. We talk about agile and moving quickly yet we can't even get to taking the first step without analyzing what that first step should be - even when solid recommendations are made.
