I was over a few stores in the area and pulled from the tax associate spot I signed up for. This District manager belongs in the Microsoft Teams software. I get PTSD just hearing that chime. The District manager takes micro management to the level of nano management. Hence, they make a good bot.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I do not know why anyone would risk their mental health to play mental dodge ball day in and day out.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Everything is online, everything has issues, the person scheduling is overworked including the instructors, the management, it is chaos. Too much online onboarding.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Helping clients with taxes is motivating. The culture of the company is to give the part time preparers carte blanche on scheduling that is not conducive to running an office.
