Kim is the BEST manager I have ever had. Her demeanor makes her lovable and deserving of respect and loyalty from her staff. She is understanding but gets her point across when necessary without making you feel less or below her. I admire her and my coworkers.

Easy to get ahold of when needed

They will pay themselves millions yeat after year and ghe rest of the staff does not receive raises to even cover inflation. 3% is what the hugh performers receive.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Being in the loop with each offices needs and concerns each is different. Be present and helpful find out what goes on in these offices instead of sending emails with instructions receiving them

Letting staff work and not pushing them to rush each client when they have questions. Pay us for the time we spend and appreciate the work we do.

Listening to their workers and taking appropriate action. From direct experience there are managers from DGM down that need to be replaced due to unethical actions which negatively affect the workplace and the clients.

The HR department does not take complaints seriously and that there are no opportunities for training due to the company’s focus on saving labor cost

Communication, clarity, honesty, resources, training,

Scheduling, accounting, compliance. Basically feel like my office is neglected to receive basic needs, paper pens a CSP.

It begins and ends with culture- how you respect and treat your teams - all teams. I recommend taking a serious look at employee feedback.

Working with staff, improving relationships with employee's and customers and take some equity, diversity, access and inclusion training.

staying off their phone, not being rude and snobby to employees, actually helping instead of propping their feet on a desk and talk on the phone constantly

It was just announced hiring of 4 new VPs. Was there a mass exodus at Block, or are they wasting company resources, instead of paying their workers decent pay and benefits.

Straight forward approach with staff updating data analytics to measure what is important revise client surveys so it focuses on positives.

Training and picking better team leads who know how to encourage their team rather than micromanaging. Leaders need to learn how to delegate tasks as well.

Corporate dictates production and doesn't care about it's employees.

Taxes need to be done accurately. Taxpros need the time to do an accurate return. Cutting hours during tax season is why you will lose long time clients. Block was built to serve the client. Now it is built to make a quick buck. You don't give z darn if clients get audited...shame on Block!

Not to be biased and partial. Dm is incompetent. Office leader get paid for doing nothing

Reward hard working employees and DM should not be partial . Office leader needs to be hardworking and should not be hired just to yell at employees. Office leader hands over their work to tax professionals so that they can hang around with friends.
