Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

It seems that no one knows what they are supposed to be doing, and everyone waits for upper management to make decisions that they never end up making, or it takes months to make one. My direct manager and team are amazing, but outside of our bubble it seems that it's a constant fire to shield from

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My manager. She encourages us to be ourselves and we enjoy working with her and each other.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My direct team is amazing. We support each other as much as we can which is hard to find.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Frankly, more of it. From the research that I've done, MB is about 30% below market average for compensation

What makes you most happy at work?

My direct team that I work with and the fact that I'm not micromanaged through the day. Management trusts me to get my job done.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Salaries should be higher, the constant changeover with upper management is concerning, and they seem to leap before they look to the detriment of our clients.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The direct team I work with are amazing. That being said, internal customer service needs a MASSIVE overhaul. Inter-department relationships are awful and they seem to be getting worse, not better.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

With the overall company, I don't have a positive impression of the culture. With my team I have a very positive culture of work hard and have fun and it's a safe place to vent.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We don't really have a culture which needs to change. Upper management is trying to go from multiple companies down to a single one which means that they have to create the culture that is needed. Something I do love is that I'm not micromanaged

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

More of it. The market research that I've done shows that we're paid about 30% under market value for my position. It seems to be the open secret. Everyone in upper management knows it, but no one says anything about how they will fix it.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Our team has become a dumping ground for other teams who didn't complete their work transfer correctly or completely. It would be appreciated if upper management took more part in ensuring that the other teams are completing their work transfer and not just dumping it somewhere to get rid of it.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Get your foot off the gas. There are so many changes and they keep coming so fast that we're not able to fully feel comfortable with the new things we're already doing before it's being advertised to the whole company that we're doing it and it's being offered to clients before it's really ready.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We as a team are so busy covering for other teams because it's to the point where if we don't do it, no one else will. The migration was not handled well by upper management. It didn't seem that there was anyone behind it with a timetable and an enforcement that people take on the tasks.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Other companies are offering $30,000-40,000 more for the same job and a lot of the same benefits. The fact that I like my job and my direct manager one of the best that I've worked for is what keeps me here, though I do look at others just to keep my thumb on the pulse of the industry.
