Overall, I think I have had a good experience. The team and management at DonorDirect are awesome. I do not feel valued by MinistryBrands. I just feel as if I am another cog in the machine for them to help turn a profit. My work is not rewarded, only if the entire company does well then maybe.

Overall I would say it is positive. The work/life balance is the best, followed by my manager trusting me and not trying to micro manage me. I wish there was better compensation and benefits.

Overall I would say it is good but I feel like MB is a bit cheap when it comes to salary and benefits. For my level of work and expertise, I am paid about 20-25% less than I would at another company doing the same job responsibility. I know how much money I help bring in/fulfill.

The remote work and time off policy.

Helping clients and knowing I am making a difference.

Trust and flexibility. I feel like my team and manger trust me and give me flexibility when needed.

Thoughtful and fun. Everybody works together for a common goal and I never hear any body say "That's not my job/department".

Everyone is passionate about their work and take pride in the work they do. Everybody is a team playing and I never hear, "That's not my job".

Everyone is invested in our work and our clients. Nobody tries to pawn work off or point blame at others. We always try to move forward and work hard.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
To be honest, I do not really know the executive leadership team that well. My direct manager/leadership is great. They do not micromanage and trust me to get my work done.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like I am at the low end of the salary spectrum for my job role. I am also the leader subject matter expert in my field and do not feel like I am compensated fairly for that.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like my manager and director. They are great and I enjoy working with them. As far as executive leadership, I do not really know many of them other than seeing some on the all hands calls, but they seem nice.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I really appreciate the holiday schedule and time off afforded to us, as well as being able to work remotely. It really helps with a better work/life balance providing me more time with my family. It is a big factor on why I love MB and want to stay here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not think I am being paid a market rate for the job I am doing. I am also doing the job of a Senior level person in my role but do not have the Title or compensation. I think an honest review of my role, title, and compensation are due.

I do not feel like MB Leadership take market rates for my position into consideration. I am paid about 20-25% less than I would at another software company doing the same job at the same level. I hear talk about how our new owners want to invest in MB and retain top employees but I do not see it.
