What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being a smaller hospital, we get to know everyone, even in different departments, and we kind of form our own work family. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and a valued member of the team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
On the night shift, there are, generally, less resources available, so when things start going awry, it's important to have a good team you can depend on. Our night shift team works very well together, and I know that if I'm struggling, my co-workers will have my back.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love it when I am able to work with our physicians and advanced practice providers to assess a patient's problem, collaborate and decide on a treatment, and actually see our interventions make a difference in the patient's condition. That's a big win, as far as I'm concerned!
