Coming to Northside has been the best career decision that I have made as a nurse. Northside truly loves their nurses and staff and I have been provided with so many opportunities for growth.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Before Northside, I was a nurse that changed jobs every year. When I finally came to Northside, I completely fell in love with a Hospital System that saw me for who I was and invested in me for what I could be. I have grown from a Nurse to a Leader over the past 10 years and hope to retire here!

Friendliness, inclusivity, work-ethic, and the collective priority of placing our patients first in everything that we do.

My team is a family! We work hard together and support each other, even during difficult times. We believe in teamwork and accountability, and it really makes a difference for the care that we provide.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love my team! I cannot say that enough! I truly work with the best and we are all so invested in the quality of care that we deliver to our patients and our community!

Annual performance evaluations are always something that I look forward to as a leader and that is because I am evaluated individually for the quality of the work that my team does! It is always exciting to look forward to a merit-based raise every year.

My leadership team is the best that I have ever worked with. They are down to earth, committed to their staff, and dedicated to the work that we do to keep our patient's safe. The leadership here really starts from the top down, and I am very thankful to work with the best team at Northside!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The teamwork and friendliness of all of the staff here at Northside Cherokee makes our culture the best to work in! Healthcare is stressful, and I love that I can come to work and know that I have a positive group of people with me and behind me to support the care we provide our patients every day!
