I see alot of staff that have fallen complacent in their duties. Alot of staff that are unnecessarily antagonistic towards inmates. I hope that by staying positive, alert, and always doing the right thing I can make a difference.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like the AT&T discount.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that when I speak up about an issue that other staff members are afraid to address, I am taken seriously.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing is positive here, so I make it my goal each day to be as positive as possible to both staff and inmates.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworkers need to improve on attitude, time management, organization, respect towards other staff, being professional towards inmates and not calling them names, etc.
What makes you most happy at work?
I see inmates not as savage animals but as people who have failed in society. If I can manage to break through to these people and help them learn the difference in what is right and wrong, that would make me happy. This would not only help the inmates, but ultimately the community as a whole.
