GEO does have family values, but I believe that many employees aren't as valued as they should be. I love the community and everyone is always happy help. Networking is key and if utilized, there are opportunities to grow.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
For environment: Monthly Celebrations, celebrating holidays with mini games or events, promoting yearly achievements of employees, hosting events outside of work that allow you to encounter employees that you don't talk to on a daily basis
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team understands the boundary between hard work and too much work. We put in 100% to make our program as best as it can be, but we make sure to understand our limits. Speaking my mind & challenging others ideas is welcome, so I always feel that my contributions are important and valued.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My dept is very small and not as valued as they should be. Despite the many projects that would benefit & improve our program, we are unable to put more effort in due to budget size & support from our neighboring depts. An increase in pay to reflect the work I put in & the goals I achieve would help
