Like i said we are under paid, under staffed. The administration seem to get bonuses every year but anyone from lieutenant down do not get bonuses.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone seems to pitch in so not just one Case Manager is busy.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's a job that I come to every day. I don't know if I'll stay.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not posting programs staff when they are short with correctional officers. Use the supervisors to post or support staff.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Like I said we are under paid and we are mandated to do over time on shift if they are short staff. If we don't stay when we are mandated we receive disciplinary.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel we are just bodies to fill positions, and we are under paid. Case Managers didn't get the 20% raise that ADCRR received because our title is not COIII but Case Mangers do the same job just have different titles. At Core Civic the Case Managers earn $29.00 and some change we do the same job. W
