Too much work. Too many "leaders". Too many lay-offs where the doers aren't backfilled which overburdens the already overburdened. Accountability standards are different between the "doers" and upper leadership. The company has gone too "woke".
What makes you most happy at work?
My team and the friends that I've made over the years.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager is great. The leadership team varies depending on who it is. Some are amazing, some shouldn't be people leaders.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If I was recognized for going over and above the norm, I would feel more appreciated. I don't feel that way at all.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Promoting those who deserve it, not just to check a box. Promoting those people who are competent people leaders. Holding people leaders (upper leadership) accountable.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is truthful, honest and hardworking. We are mandated to take on tasks that don't belong to our team, but we do it anyway and do it well. Everyone helps everyone else. It is a great team.
