What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Overworked and underappreciated team members (managers/coworkers) create a negative environment

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Learning that overworking is leading to people leaving, therefore continuing to overwork the ones that are staying. Mandatory 6-7 day work weeks. Clear communication and expectations are not happening, leading us to not know when we are expected to work on our day off in advance.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I have truly found coworkers throughout the company that check in because they understand how difficult this job can be. There are great days and months, and also hard times as with any job. Coworkers that understand are truly helpful to lean onto and find support and motivation from.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

We are all adults but some leaders don't take accountability for their stores under performing in sales or ops. I shouldn't have to do other managers' ops or training their team just because I know how to. There's a difference between training the trainer or assisting and just doing it for them.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I lean in for other stores, leaders when they are out, answering my phone for all managers/reps in the district leading me to answering my phone 8 am-8 pm 7 days a week. I am going above to train other stores, run reporting, and lead weekly leadership calls but cant get PTO or 2 days off a week
