What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I came to this company from a different retailer a year ago, I have never been upset about that decision. I'm making pretty much the same if not less then I was but the peer to peer culture is 100% why I stay.

What makes you most happy at work?

The customers -- I love what I do, I love connecting with the people in my community on the personal level. When I left my old store people followed me down the street because of who I am and what I provide for them. That is my WHY I keep doing this job!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The changes that have been made seem to benefit the gray store far more. If you look at the pay period goals, the smaller store have such low requirements they hit far above the goal. My team works twice as hard and someone with a 1/4 of my goals makes more money then me selling far less.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Training - there are multiple team members on my manager team that don't have the basic knowledge of how to do the job, how to sell, and how to coach. Yet these are the ones I see making a higher payout because they have smaller goals they don't have to take the time to learn they are getting paid!

What do you like best about the leadership team?

When things are going well I don't hear from him or see him in store, but if something is in a negative he is super quick to tell me what I am doing wrong. He preaches that I need to run my business and know my business but he is super quick to tell me what I am going wrong every time.
