The company is great to work for. But the culture in the DIGITAL department is bad, the politics is horrible. MT actually encourages that. MT promotes people who talk a lot and have nothing to show for. If you work hard, then you are forced to work harder with no rewards.
What makes you most happy at work?
the brand is excellent and will go places and I am proud to be on that journey.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Promotions are far and few in between. Raises are barely 2%. The salaries are lower than NY/NJ rates.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Digital MT has made OFFICE POLITICS the worst. The MT entertains employees to complain and tattle tail. Creates a negative culture.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Change the DIGITAL MT, hire qualified leaders, not coordinators. Stop people from building empires where people are sitting and surfing the internet day in day out. These directors should definitely be replaced.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Digital MT : Reward the hard workers, not the ones who talk the most and have nothing to show for it. Stop hiring too many people as there are so many who barely have 2 hours of work daily. STOP promoting POLITICS. DIGITAL MT is very bad at this.. Most of the digital MT are coordinators not leaders.
