Very friendly and caring environment there's just too much favoritism among the housekeepers. Some get less then others because they are seen as "slower" then others and its unfair. I want equality between all of us no matter the pace that is worked at.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued at almost every level of housekeeping. I work well and at a very fast pace. I should be rewarded with compliments, not given more work or detail because of whatever speed I achieve to completion of my work load along with the many I already take on.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There is currently a lot of favoritism going on at our location within the housekeeping department. The harder working employees are given more work and the slackers are given very noticeable amount of less rooms to clean then their counter parts. We get more and no help as they get less and help.
