They really do want the best environment for employees.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Smart and dedicated people. But managers are often inept and advanced for personality rather than skill.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Most people are trying their best to do well, but are hampered by managers who think they know better.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

It's not about me. I'm paid well. But hotel employees are nearly always paid far less than what they are worth. IHG doesn't control this, but the Owners do, and IHG could do more to ensure fair compensation - globally.
