I hated it. It was cool at first when there was a qualified store manager there, but they fired him and put a dunce in his place. The fact that no one treats you like a human while working there is terrible. No one understands that your home life is directly tied to your work life.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing. I dreaded going to work everyday, but I had to.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The fact that they allow the most under qualified people to be upper management there is something they can definitely improve on for sure.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The need to start from the top and work their way down the line. There are employees that work extremely hard for a company that couldn't care any less about them and it's sad.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Communication is key in any work place environment and the 99 cents only stores have 0 communication skills. Whether it be from corporate to upper management or management to crew or crew to crew. It's nonexistent at best.
