What is the best part about your compensation package?

I know the leadership team tries hard to take care of employees.

I love that we offer an HSA plan. It allows me to grow my unused insurance funds and make better use of my money.

Fair salary for the job.

I'm a part time employee, so my compensation is minimal

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Clear goals and targets to meet. Compensation that keeps pace with added scope to my position.

I do not feel undervalued from my leadership but from a compensation standpoint there is a lot of story behind why I feel somewhat under compensated.

Pay should be based upon level of responsibility and size/volume of Org that you are managing. The Org is entirely top heavy with people who lack experience and knowledge to lead a group of people.

Our 401k match does not provide a reasonable percentage to be a legitimate part of an individuals retirement plan. Wages have not kept up with inflation, AEVEX should of course base raises on merit but also a base COLA increase that compensates employees for inflation should be the starting point.

1) Several peers have higher increases in pay or promotions 2) Pay lags industry increases 3) My pay has lagged COLA...I know, we don't do COLA raises. So, that tells me that I'm not even performing average. 4) My program have increased 4X in revenue, my customers are happy, I'm not.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There is a lot of change occurring all at once and we are not paying enough attention to it. Leadership in not empowering people in their roles and unclear corporate strategy is driving division and confusion. I can't answer the question "what kind of company are we?"

A stronger network to support common goals and managers who share a common purpose. Currently, it feels more like a dictatorship or military chain of command. (Thou shall not ask questions that contradict the supreme powers that be)

I feel like AEVEX has strayed from the culture I signed up to and what we used to be.

The lack of process creates silos of truth and results in controlled chaos.
