They are very reponsive to my questions.
Direct manager is amazing and truly cares about us.
Open communication of the future goals and changes of the company.
a lot of the unpleasantries stay in the background or are handled before they get to the team. We are encouraged to solve the problems we face. sometimes this gate keeps relevant information
They always are doing what they can to ensure the success of their team.
Care about my career growth or development
Communicating across the entire organization within the division. Information is not being properly disseminated to the lowest level. The push for standardized processes is not adequately supported. Not enough time and resources are invested in proper implementation of systems such as new ERP.
Our systems are poorly designed for real users—sold to
Care about the person in front of them
I barely talk to my leadership. I know one of them, and he is a rockstar. If there are others, I haven't spoken to them
My salary, 401k, and insurance
Company paid health care is nice.
Paid insurance and cheaper rates for spouse and or dependents.
PTO accrual is incredibly high
Medical is the best part
Falling behind the pay scale of both personnel in similar functions in my area and benefits are less inviting than almost all similar organizations.
Pay raises have only kept up with CPI inflation rate.
Pay is not competitive for given experience combined with the continuously unrealistic & sustained time demands and herculean efforts required to complete an ever-growing list of urgent/high-priority projects and process.
The amount of work I'm requested to do has increased dramatically, both in general workload and in importance to company success while my compensation and title have gone largely unchanged for over two years. And no additional support has been put in place to assist.
I feel undervalued because I wear many hats (with a great attitude) and dont get paid what I believe all those hats should, I take on more work it seems everyday. There arent any incentives or pats on the back when you do a great job, not in my department at least. It seems there is also favoritism.
They are friendly and engaging
The people are very knowledgeable.
My current teammate does not speak to me. Leadership in my site lead is amazing as well as my director. My Program manger is MIA all the time and does not come see us or communicate.
we have some absolute rock stars on my team. highly intelligent and exceptionally hard working
Ability to work together and the experience we have
My work environment lacks professionalism and is driven by senority
My coworkers are overworked with limited resources in critical programs. Not enough program managers, project managers, project controllers, and finance support for the level of required effort put forth by senior leadership.
We have some difficult personalities to work with, which ruin everyone's moral.
There are a bunch or coworkers that just show up to work for a paycheck, doing minimal work because they have been with the company awhile. They tend to push all work on younger employees.
Coworkers are fine I'm an introvert.
The benefits show that the company cares.
although bad, shared suffrage has built strong core groups within my team
Feels like we are all family
Everyone is believes in the product/mission
we all have a passion for what we do
I have nothing to add here.
Company culture does not exist as a contractor. We are local to San Diego like the company but no one comes to visit us from Salona but maybe once a year.
Nothing about the company should change
provide members with company swag and/or invite others from other locations to company events
Better communication between SMX and AEVEX, have training available for AEVEX employees just like SMX employees.

Accomplishing the mission and learning new skills
I feel that the effort to pay ratio is fair.
Supporting the warfighter with the tools they need to get the job done!
flying planes that will leave "dents" in the world
The challenges and the flexibility my leadership gives me to attack
Travel is very important to me, yet opportunities for it are scarce in this role. The same is true for training; outside of position-specific requirements, there are few avenues for professional development. Leadership opportunities are also limited
Senior leadership continually creates conditions for program failure that require extraordinary effort to manage, mitigate, or correct. High degree of persistent task oversaturation forcing team to accept substandard solutions in order to maintain schedules and task volume/throughput. Fix = Hire
I am burnt out due to the customer demands and penny-wise management of AEVEX.
There's a lack of support personnel in all functions and the company has committed to overly ambitious project time lines. Adequate staffing is required and realistic project work given current resource capability needs more attention. Otherwise the RIF's will happen more frequent voluntarily.
It's mostly the culture of the managers which is the issue.
