Amazon Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

What I value most about the leadership team is their clear vision, genuine support, and hands-on guidance. They empower ownership, model high standards, and foster open communication. Their focus on growth, transparency, and collaboration inspires trust and drives real impact.

Team is very much important in any work without spirit nd team work there is no so much success in wprk

Their overall consistency and energy and seeming desire to grow together and excel at who they are and what they do.

Cope with extremely fast changing environment.

Trying to motivate the staff

Review from IT Dept

Leadership that i was under was pretty supportive.

They are truly Customer Obsessed. Every idea has the customer in mind and that includes me, an employee.

Review from Operations Dept

The leadership always has access; Bar None. We compete at a solo level but its graceful and filled with erroneous humors

I like everything about it

Fan of middle mansgement. Out of touch executive team

Sometimes they forget what it takes an associate to work a full shift for weeks at a time but overall they're some of the best I've experienced.

Customer obsession is awesome. RTO is not awesome.

Some managers are caring while others only look out for themselves

Review from Customer Success Dept

They take their time to teach us to our understanding

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Stop micromanaging people. Do a better job of setting directions and aligning teams.

Team need to support those that have a large worklaof

Start to think on the long term of the business and stop chasing short term profit. Take care of it's people so they don't leave or worst, get sick because of the company.

Treating people like a person instead of a number

Review from HR Dept

Help team and experience team

Respecting their team, and understanding the workloads being tasked and even just giving a simple thank you to their employees. Over this entire year, my director who I report to has never once said thank you to me while I’ve delivered beyond expectations carrying the workloads of 3 people who qu

My leadership is communication and listing

treat us like human beings

Leading. Visionary thinking? Absent. Strategic direction? Muddled. Empowering employees? Impossible. Fostering collaboration? A pipe dream. Emotional intelligence? A foreign concept. They need a complete rewrite, not just a minor edit.

Setting more realistic targets. Anticipate how larger economic issues affect the buisness

Speak truth to power. Stop feeding me bullsh*t and telling me its steak.

Focus on people and work life balance

Fire toxic managers, as quickly as possible.

Reasonable expectations, fairness, accountability for equality for all races (not just making the hard working white people do all the work).

They are dishonest, greedy and disconnected. They lack empathy and compassion for human beings. They only care about the board and the stock price. All their campaigns are lies. For exampley, they currently advertise an employee apprenticeship program which got put on hold.

Listen and be fair consistent

Be data driven and respect your employees (at least hear what they have to say) before enforcing policies. Not just preach but follow leadership principles

communication, change fatigue, listening, and promotions for the hard workers

Be more compassionate and caring .

Following their own Amazon Principles, using data to make decisions
