What did you like most about the interview process? We had a real conversation that focused on qualifications , understanding of what the job would entail and covered all of my questions as well.
What makes you most happy at work?Team comradery , productivity that matters and Kudos for a job well done
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company? We are all important and appreciated for the work we do and the missions we support. We are also individually made to feel like our contributions truly matter.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?Education and increase efficiency; remove senior leaders and inject new life
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Benifets are pretty standard for overseas employees. The issue I have with them is that the companies CACI uses to supply those benefites are ill prepared to support international employees. As an example our Disability company cannot call international numbers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Low pay but benefits are good.
CACI is a $5.7 billion national security company whose mission and enterprise technology and expertise play a vital role in safeguarding our troops, and enabling our government to deliver cost-effective and high-quality support for all Americans. At CACI, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
CACI is ever vigilant in helping our customers meet their greatest enterprise and mission challenges in national security and government modernization. Our distinctive expertise and technology deliver innovation and excellence. We are a company of good character, and our dynamic team of professionals is committed to doing the right thing by performing with ethics and integrity. We take pride in our achievements and create value for employees, customers, and shareholders.
There are two pillars to CACl’s culture. The first is Character – our commitment to ethics and integrity in all we do. The second is Innovation – our dedication to advancement and excellence in all we do.
Sustainability helps people and organizations thrive. At CACI, we know that one of the most important ways that we can support our communities and our environment is by proactively reducing our environmental impact. From more efficient use of energy and materials to educating our employees on how to better serve as stewards of the planet, our commitment to sustainable practices extends across our three million+ square feet of space, in more than 150 facilities, in our leased real estate portfolio.
The health and safety of our employees, partners, and customers is also of paramount importance in how we conduct our business. To this end, we have implemented a comprehensive Environmental, Health and Safety policy which reflects our strong commitment at all levels of CACI management to operate in a manner that protects the health and safety of our employees, partners, customers, and communities.
CACI is committed to protecting and improving the environment. Here are examples:
Protecting the Environment Inside our Offices
1. We recycle commonly used materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum, and other materials commonly recycled. We have robust recycling programs in all leased facilities and provide recycled or recyclable products in our kitchens and pantries.
2. Our newly built and renovated facilities within the CACI portfolio incorporate several concepts embodied within the LEED design and construction process. One of our larger offices is LEED Gold certified.
3. CACI’s design and renovation projects promote work environments where a large portion of construction debris is diverted from landfills.
4. Within our facility portfolio, particularly for newly designed work environments, we repurpose existing furniture and fixtures where possible, and incorporate other eco-friendly measures.
Trash and recycling are in shared spaces throughout the building, promoting recycling and far less use of materials needed for individual trash and recycling throughout the work environment.
5. Energy Star certified appliances are provided as the basis of design.
6. Low or no VOC paint finishes and adhesives are specified for all interior applications.
7. Throughout new design/build initiatives and within our facilities, we utilize architectural finishes such as carpet, resilient floors, and solid surface materials, that are high in pre- and post-consumer recycled content as the basis for CACI standards. For example, carpet used in newly designed facilities is 100% PVC-free and is recyclable into new carpet. It is Cradle-to-Cradle certified at the LEED Silver level, which is the most comprehensive material assessment available and takes into account material health, material reutilization, renewable energy, water stewardship and social fairness.
8. Mechanical and electrical considerations for newly designed facilities include our HVAC systems, which are designed to meet or exceed current applicable ASHRAE standards for energy consumption.
9. All lighting installed in new facilities is energy compliant LED lighting, in compliance with current applicable energy codes. Lighting controls utilize occupancy/vacancy sensors to ensure that lights are not left on in unoccupied spaces and daylight harvesting is utilized along perimeter window exposure to dim artificial lighting to appropriate levels while leveraging natural light. Dimming systems also reduce overall power consumption and lengthen the life expectancy of LED fixtures, further diverting materials from landfills.
10. Other sustainability-related practices include open office planning and exposure to daylighting and views to the outdoors where feasible to promote wellness and increased productivity.
11. IT-related initiatives include reduced desktop printer use, opting for multi-function (print/copy/scan/fax) devices only in shared areas of our work environments. CACI works with vendors to recycle unused IT equipment. We continue to focus on transitioning from paper records to digital records storage where possible and partner with vendors to shred and recycle discarded paper files.
Helping our Environment with Support from Our Employees
1. Where there is a demand, we are including bike storage in facilities which encourages environmentally friendly transportation methods. Those facilities are typically equipped with on-site fitness centers and showers, as well.
2. CACI has implemented telework programs and flexible work schedules that reduce commuting and save our employees time and reduce their carbon emissions, and we use Web conferencing when possible, to promote employee interaction and reduce carbon footprint and time associated with travel.
CACI strives to focus on environmentally friendly practices in many areas of our design, construction, material use, and recycling-based initiatives.
A healthy planet is everyone’s mission and at CACI, we remain ever vigilant in our commitment to sustainability.
CACI cares about our nation and the communities in which our employees live and work. We support charitable programs and initiatives that benefit our country, our military and their families, education of future leaders, and our employees in times of need. Through the CACI Cares philanthropy program, we form strategic partnerships with organizations aligned with our business and mission in these core areas:
-Investing in the Next Generation of Innovators
-The Heroes Who Serve
In addition, our employees generously volunteer their time to their local neighborhoods and those in need. Volunteerism is one of the many ways our employees embody CACI Culture, and why CACI is a great place to work.
In Spring 2020, during the COVID-19 environment, CACI Cares sponsored more than 5,455 meals to frontline medical professionals and 552,500 meals to food banks, in communities where our employees work and live.
