I've been at Calix a long time and seen many changes. I have found that hiring and promotions are very difficult unless you are a friend or previous colleague of an executive. Cronyism is alive and well at Calix

decrease the number of interviews and increase the length of interviews with those most impacted by the hiring

I am paid about 60% of market value for my position based on offers I'm getting from outside companies

That I can be a part of helping our customers provide a great experience to their customers and that we help overcome the digital divide
