Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Hiring/Onboarding was efficient. My colleagues helped me ramp quickly on Calix products. I have been responsible for my own schedule to get assigned projects completed; no micro management. Everyone I met within Calix is motivated, easy to work with, responsive and has a good sense of humor.

It is very entrepreneurial with our customer success at top-of-mind.

Interesting and challenging projects. I am learning something new every day and it is not boring.

They are entrepreneurial with vision, strategy and execution. Passionate about the people in the company with down-to-earth communication (little to no business MBA speak) regarding business performance and familial raport with personal humor in meetings.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone I met in Calix has been supportive, upbeat and focused on success. Informaton is shared, we colaborate on projects and help each other as best we can. When speed bumps come along the focus is on lessons learned and continuous improvement.

I have been a remote worker since starting with Calix. All of my colleagues are easy to reach with the various communication tools. They have helped me ramp on Calix products, provide feedback on my work and actively create solutions to business objectives.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They communicate the goals and performance metrics without spin. They are reachable, communication is bi-directional and open. Asking questions or commenting on a topic is encouraged and accepted, to the point of feeling like you are having a conversation on a topic. Very refreshing.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Tough question because there are several to choose from. The financial compensation with pay and investment opportunities are excellent. However the best part is Calix's work/life balance culture that encourages everyone to take time off, to decompress, to be with family and stay healthy. Awesome!

Beyond the salary is the quality of life focus in the Calix culture. You are encouraged to take time off to mentally refresh. It is also easy to work around medical appointment or a school age kid's schedule. Work life balance is important as well as managing your time to accomplish business goals.
