Overall, been a great experience despite everything being remote. Have a lot of enthusiastic leaders, a decent handle on high-level vision, and simply need more focus on execution. Business is doing well, I think the key is to leverage those benefits to have sustained growth 2+ years out from now.

Open to ideas, people want to make things more efficient, building sustainable culture

Everyone honest about the business, in terms of past struggles and successes, what is working and what is not, and where folks want to go.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Overall feel good about compensation. Surprised, in Silicon Valley, not more tilted to equity. And benefits I'm sure are decent, but would be nice to have a split for those that forgoe benefits (due to dual-employment)
What are some of the best things about your team?
Nice, smart, technically-savvy: Calix has employees that have 10+ years and grew up in the hardware space, as well as newer employees more focused on cloud/software. But I see all employees really diving in and trying to build a sustainable, growth business.
