The work and co workers at Capital One are great. There are plenty of company holidays as it is a bank. On top of this we have days off in the summer and also "Invest in yourself days" which you can take as a day off or take a day to learn something or spend with your family.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The base salary is pretty competitive with most companies but not competitive with top tech companies.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Everyone was on time and the questions were fair and allowed me to show off my knowledge.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone seems to care about the work and making sure that we build things that are easy to maintain and keep secure
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the problems that we have to solve. We are currently building a new modern system on AWS so I feel like my experience is being kept up to date while at work.
