A vast majority of the time kitchen and store employees are left alone to do all the work. Example: 1 person in the kitchen for 8 hours to make all food warmer items every hour, keep things labeled and organized, make all orders, man the phone, keep the kitchen clean, and keep everything stocked.
Work should be work but when "friends" are hired it becomes a popularity contest. If you are friends with management work is easy if not you won't be accepted no matter how hard you work. And if they don't like you they will "create a paper trail" so they can fire you without having to give unemploy
