The store itself is great. coworkers and managers do their jobs. the problem comes when corporate comes in and messes everything up. limiting our hours, imposing rules that are more harm than good, disregard any thing we say and punishing us when we can't meet their quota.
What did you like most about the interview process?
it was quick and to the point.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
the workers and some of the people. we do are jobs when where able to and the customers get what they payed for. when it works it works.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
who? like the managers the staff the executives? managers do their job and do it well. helping use and guiding us to be better. While also allowing us to give feed back.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They listen and help eachother out. Generally are good to be around and work with. And if we have a problem with one and other we can sort it out right then and there.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Getting payed more than minimum wage for having to deal with being threatened and yelled at all day. getting grilled for messing up when I have to do my and 2 other peoples jobs because where understaffed.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Let the managers manage the store. Pay the employees a fair wage to deal with verbal assault. don't understaff the store. Have human resources be contactable in any form. Have higher ups stop treating workers and managers like faulty robots and more like competent humans. Listen to use at all.
