I really love my job, that is why I have not quit yet. I love our customers, I love working with people, I love the other co-workers, but I am getting very unhappy with our store manager and she needs to change.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I think just being compensated is a great feeling and very pleased with it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Honestly, the team members have to be positive with each other, we don't get positive feed back from our manager. Our customers are mostly very understanding and positive.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Honestly, I have been there 5 years and I didn't really have an interview. I was hired on the spot and did paperwork the same day. Started the next day.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most of them are very hard workers and do a very good job, but rarely get praised for their hard work. I feel they deserve to be at least praised and told they are appreciated more. Most of our team are very pleasant and friendly people who do a great job.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Our store manager needs to be a little nicer when she talks to us or leaves notes for us to read. She is very rude and very negative and is even known to cuss at her employees, I feel she is very unprofessional and I have had customers say she treats them the same way.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think on a corporate level they are doing the best they can in this strange time and are doing great, as for the store level leadership, I am not to happy about it. Our store manager says we can not enter our store on our days off and that is the only store we have in town.
