Honestly, it was really great until we switched management. The new GM is very rude, and complains about employees in front of customers. Many customers have reported back to us employees on what has been said, and when.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team needs to get better at communication, and confidentiality.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The way everything is handled. There is so much unprofessionalism in our store.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The GM will talk terribly about employees in front of customers, is very rude to customers, and refuses to admit that she is the biggest issue in that store. She does not know how to professionally communicate.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because I am a hard worker, but nothing I do is ever enough for my boss. She will be so nice to your face, then turn around and talk badly behind your back to other employees and customers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about my other coworkers, excluding 3/4 of management, is our ability to communicate and come together as a team when we need to to make sure that the other person is getting their job done, and done in a timely manner.
