The manager is aweful, no personality has her favorites and smokes all the time. She has been doing this for 11 years and comes in everyday hating her job. The employees like it there but we are about done.. so sad cause we all like our jobs just the manager hides alot of things from corporate.
What makes you most happy at work?
Customers for sure, or I would be gone..
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Make it fun, make people want to work there. But I have my HR degree this is my retirement job
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers are great and live it when you make them feel special. When you remember them or make their day with a smile..
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay should match every place else in town. Not just get a summer raise and loose it in September. And benefits are a joke..
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being management, not friends. They need to tell people to do their job. They won't even tell them to get off the phone to fill sandwiches or help a customer.
