Hiring competent team leads preferably from inside the company. My current supervisor is newer than I am and cancels most huddles and I have yet to have a 1 on 1 been on the team for over a month.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Very little tops-down prioritization across initiatives, as teams create annual operating plans in siloes & those plans are reviewed & approved individually. This results in scattered & often conflicting priorities by the time they're socialized to employees, leading to confusion & inefficiency
Review from Marketing Dept
Communicating and aligning all organizations. Stop the silos.
Review from Operations Dept
There are significant disconnects in vision, priority, and culture at each level of Chewy's hierarchy, and there's a general lack of accountability to match.
Review from Operations Dept
Communicate better. We have new people on our team and we never received an introduction email to know who they are and what they will be doing.
Review from Operations Dept
There is no longer bonus potential.
Review from HR Dept
Team members that are performing the same job duties on the same team might not be paid the same amount, and there could be a big gap between the two.
Review from HR Dept
My experience, additional workload, and initiatives do not reflect the pay.

possibility of promotion; bonus eligible

a maternity leave package that was actually competitive. This one is an embarrassment.
Review from Marketing Dept
Better proactive planning -- current culture is to share pre-reads at the start of the meeting vs. before, then spend the first ~10-20 min camera off reading. This results in minimal time to digest and think critically about the material at hand, and often the only voices heard are the loudest.
Review from Marketing Dept
any feedback from coworkers should be positive and/or constructive, too often it is negative and not helpful
Review from Customer Support Dept
It seems to be a boys club
Review from Customer Support Dept
There are quite a few coworkers who do the bare minimum of work here and leave their other coworkers to pick up the slack. Leadership does not do a proper job at selecting nd monitoring the right team members for roles here.
Review from Operations Dept
Being more professional on zoom calls or profile pictures, respectful of both employees and customers.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Focus on the solution, rather than blame for the problem we're resolving. True, company-wide knowledge management. A focus on building and developing leaders, instead of promoting high-functioning individual-contributors to leadership roles. Data access and analysis.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Employees should be treated like customers.
Review from Customer Support Dept
remote opportunities would be nice, most advancement seems to be in a chewy hub vs work any where
Review from Customer Support Dept
It would be nice if the company were more inclusive/supportive of support staff outside of the corporate office.
Review from IT Dept
to actually act on you policies and procedures, to make sure our TM's are adhearing to them, and they are held acountable for the wrong doings they perform, or be acknowledged when they may or may not meet the top numbers but at least they are working hard instead of hardly working

Customers call screaming at us for mistakes of previous reps. We need more competent training and to make sure ALL departments are on the same page.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Leadership needs some self awareness and EQ training
Review from Marketing Dept
Teams and levels are disconnected in terms of company vision, long term goals, and how different teams and levels enable these goals. Information sharing is limited, creating unnecessary swirl.
Review from Marketing Dept
Change the culture from "everyone has to solve ever problem by themselves" and "action before planning" to one that prioritizes collaboration, information-sharing, and success for all.
