What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Hiring competent team leads preferably from inside the company. My current supervisor is newer than I am and cancels most huddles and I have yet to have a 1 on 1 been on the team for over a month.

The executive team is only focused on supporting BC Partners exit from the sector. Along with the S-3ASR filing with the SEC. This is common in geowing companies, but Chewy is struggling to keeps its head above water. First round of layoffs, with more to come.

Leadership needs to get better at leading. There is no leadership presence or direction to unify teams together, and there is little communication from leadership on topics that matter to employees. Teams operate in silos with no regard for other teams, platforms, or internal user experience.

I work well with my direct coworkers (there are only 3 in my department) but outside of that there are very few I interact with. Some are very unfriendly and some are even immediately defensive or rude and hateful.
