Mr. William E. Franklin, also known as Will, CPA, has been an Executive Vice President for U.S. Operations & Shared Services at Copart, Inc. Mr. Franklin served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Copart, Inc. since March 2004 until January 4, 2016 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer until January 4, 2016 and responsible for all its financial functions. Mr. Franklin served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Copart, Inc. from March 2004 to March 2014. He joined Copart, Inc. in March 2004. Mr. Franklin has over 20 years in international finance and executive management experience. From October 2001 to March 2004, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Premiere Global Services, Inc. (formerly Ptek Holdings, Inc.) an international telecommunications company. Prior to that, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Clifford Electronics, an international consumer electronics company. He has extensive experience in corporate capitalization having worked in both public and private equity and debt markets. He began his career in public accounting working in audit and SEC compliance. Mr. Franklin holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from California State University Bakersfield. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
