  • Diversity at CorVel was a joke. Notice the question states "asked three years ago". Management likes to sweep the racism under the rug and pretend systemic racism does not happen. EEOC should definitely investigate.

  • A lot of hires were word of mouth that some one new and referred. One girl was a waitress/bartender that a group of claims adjusters meet at happy hour after work. Her name was passed on to the Claims manager and she was hired as a claims assistant with no experience. She was not black or Hispanic.

  • Older and less open to change. Everyone seems solid in their C# and SQL skills but the amount of change in the senior dev roles means things always stay the same.

  • I’d say the managers are competent for the most part. Like anything else some have inclinations to get more Involved in the weeds than others.

  • The vibe is chill for th and most part. Deadlines are set with the expectation that features will be delivered and done by then but if it slips managers say ok and ask what’s the new timeline. As for the number of hours worked I’d say 40-50 hours a week.
