If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Cracker Barrel?
Stop expecting servers to do more work while you cut other hours because we're cheap 2$ hrly labor. Everyone else walks out at there time but servers will be there 30min to 2 hrs after a shift ....making 2$ an hour and always running late to pick up kids cause we never out on time .
They need to go back to being like a family again. As a employee for over 13 years I have them gone from being a big family to business. Nothing like it use to be...

I met the retail manager at the time. Hired on the spot. However, it’s much different now
I met only the GM and did a phone interview

Depends on the day...but mostly pretty chill...around 30 hrs

Excellent communication skills . Knowledge of products . Appearence of products and of the salesperson .
Work, team work and lots of it. Suggestive sales are big along with upselling
Passion, product knowledge, have good knowledge of what the guests are looking for. Friendly and approachable.

Pay attention, don't call off... Do the work no body else will do
Knowledge is power, learn as much as you can.
I would say stick it out. It’s definitely different. Maybe you will fit in and maybe you won’t!! I definitely did not!!
From a manager standpoint- what do you love about your position and what could make it better better.
Not a manager...but i would say schedule the correct amount of people to cover shifts
I’m not a manager because of my DM.
Love the company. It's rough being the out side of the manager team. It's lonely.
What's the work from home policy like at Cracker Barrel?
You have to be on site to please our guests. There are a few Talent/HR roles that are home based.
