Lazy servers who refuse to help each other out lazy management who refuses to help servers when they are severely overwhelmed and regular sexual-harassment that just completely goes ignored. And it is a franchise store but that means nothing because the manager is the owner

How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at IHOP?
Very difficult
Pretty tough in billings, messed up hours and always an 'on-call' day on your day off

change the manger get new one and a manger who can put there foot down and mean what they say

being around people i know at work who come and eat there

I love being in a fast paced environment. At times it can get super stressful. But I still like working there.

How's the vacation policy at IHOP?
Mediocre, hard to take because of all the restrictions
For hourly employees is nonexistent. For managers it’s one week paid per year.
What vacation policy? It's mandatory to work holidays and weekends!
What unique perks and benefits does IHOP provide?
Great benefits and that’s it
We do get $9 a day to eat on. But they do take a certain amount out of our pay to cover it. So it's not free. And I don't think that everyone is real clear on that.

I filled the application out online and it took days for the GM to set up my interview. Supposedly he was just to busy.

I met with the general manager. I called ihop two days after my online application was submitted.
How's the morale at IHOP?
There is none! Everyone is for themselves and that's it! They don't care about the guests let alone their coworkers! None of them have any humility at all! Hospitality and teamwork is a thing of the past!

I don't know, mine was different because I had a friend from a previous job refer me. So all I had to do was the technicalities really.

Ask fellow servers with help ringing up orders. Almost every breakfast combo has modifications. Study the menu because it's a long one.

It's fast! Which I like a fast pace but when it becomes chaos spiraling out of control, because we are so understaffed, it makes me want to throw in the towel!

The VP of operations is always available to listen however she never acts on what she’s told. The entire company runs with the “ostrich” philosophy.
They are too closed minded. They don't realize the happier the employee, the better the company!
