Depends on who is giving it. My GM is fabulous, my RM is so worried about the DM, she can’t do her job great.
They say it's open door policy.But they talk more then they listen. Or they listen with no internet to help.

You must be available to work weekends. So, I don’t plan much social. If I do I always plan 3 weeks ahead.

Shouldnt be any difference . We're talking about children, then children come before anything . Do whats right for the children first. Help the family do what they need to do. The corporation will have a thankful employee who will be grateful for your caring about them . It will reflect in their performance in a positive way .
