Cracker Barrel Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I'm paid well. I'm offered good benefits

Being paid weekly. Ability to select insurance coverage

Benefits Hub and paid vacation

Can get benefits even at part -time.

the healthcare and insurance is a great benefit considering it does not take a bunch of student debt to get a job here

lots to learn, there is new challenges everyday

Nothing, I don't get one

401K and paid vacation and time off

Overall I feel it is pretty good

I guess the retirement benefits

Don't get any benefits at work

Available to me since i first starting working

Our insurance is terrible. It use to be the best out there. But now, it covers almost nothing. I'd be happy to pay more for better coverage. I have because I had to.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The compensation policy is not my complaint

Vacation for part time employees.

The Long term incentive plan

Review from Operations Dept

Vacation time is good overall

I wouldnt know much about it.

I don't have any work compensation.

I make exactly how much I would want to be paid for a part time job.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If you want me cleaning and dusting all your nick necks l Iights, exta,or dust off your porch and rocking chairs get a latter and tools to do job get a blower that works i have 5 in my closet none work shoot I can't even get a toilet bow brush. I gave up asking. But getting told im not doing good

the ammount of work i do does not match my pay. almost every day im there hours after my shift ends. wayyy too much is expected from us

The company should take better care of long time employees

That I'm being treated like a criminal and getting my jacket down befor I leave. Public shopilifting is your shrinkage problem here. Its not the employees.

Like I said earlier, I think from the start from training until a person gets another job. Managers need to be more involved than what they are.

I was told it would be full-time and that I would have benefits and found out that they don't hire full-time there and there are no benefits for part-time. They don't listen to anything you say they constantly talk down to you and the customers they're not there to help anybody but themselves.

Review from Sales Dept

I put a lot of work into my job because i love what i do, but when i go out of my way to make sure everythjng is great for the next day i feel like i dont get what i need

Better management I liked the job but my mangers made it unbearable.

I feel undervalued due to poor leadership. Having support and a reason to work hard for the company could help improve this.

Review from Sales Dept

I get paid $12 to put up with bs all day for 8hrs with no break

Undervalued that i have r receive my firsr check ans i have been working there for over 3 months

No one listens and just yells at me

I was told I would be paid 18.50 a HR. And on my pay stubs it says I'm getting 11.25 hr. This is not right.

I'm not worried about the compensation. I'm worried about what is right as far as the civil rights act goes.

As an ETC they cut our hours drastically and removed our benefits... says enough.

Review from HR Dept

The pay is is not competitive. Hard work does not pay.

I feel that the management does not care if they keep staff. So it is making the few people who have bonded and only there for the others to work too hard.

More pay and hours that are guaranteed. And paid holiday

Must wait a full year for insurance and get very minimal pto and other benefits

Review from Customer Success Dept

My time is not respected. I work whenever i am asked, but they do not believe in work life balance.
