We are contractors and we are not equal to full time employees. We are not included in parties, pictures, meetings, or anything related to fun happy stuff! For me its not about the money it's about being equal and having a voice that matters.
Have empathy and be more collaborative-- this is not the Hunger Games where winners win all.
I do enjoy spending time with my coworkers who do the same job as me.
More transparency (esp from executive and leadership team), better organization (right now the company is extremely chaotic and disorganized-- duplicate code and work happen all the time), clear and REALISTIC goals, better collaboration.
HR makes a lot of announcements about "culture" but nothing changes. Lots of infighting, politics, inexperienced management, and "bro culture"
