Loyal and good energy it seems
Bright, passionate and truly committed. They do not lose.
most helpful, polite and determined team ever
There's a open door policy and our questions are always welcomed
Real people who care about the employees
most of the mid management is homegrown. They landed Cvent as their first job and seldom have ideas for radically changing business or anything for that matter.
Appreciating and Valuing an employee and their contribution
Treat their employees with respect and empathy

Don't allow people who are reported for harassment to be promoted, awarded at companywide, continue to manage people unpunished or transfer to be over new people. Also, they do not pay internal transfers the same as the position pays outside of the company because they avoid more than a 6% increase.
Having actual real managerial experience. All were just promoted from individual contributers and have no real skills to lead a team.

Make more than hospitality pay
The overall package is excellent and the best part is the fair increment and bonus.
Review from Customer Support Dept
The package meets my expectations at this time
It is above industry average and reviewed regularly.
salary and bonus paid annually
Review from Customer Success Dept
They ask for long days but dont pay out
They pay lower than market value. Bonuses are considered part of the base pay compensation so it's lower than other companies. Anything over a 6% increase requires VP level or above sign-off so if you transfer to a higher-paying position you aren't paid fairly for it.
they pay below industry average

You are grossly underpaid in Client Services, and overworked. There are insane expectations and very little praise or compensation. The bonus wasn't even paid out in full last year in early 2020 for our work in 2019 which we rightly deserved and earned.
Review from Customer Success Dept
Not enough compensation for the amount of responsibility assigned.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Open, supportive and def friendly
Smart and creative, passionate to help our customers
1. Always ready to help 2. Instead of pinpointing, stepping down to help others. And many other good qualities
Review from Customer Support Dept
Supportive, helpul and always there when you need them
The team really cares about each other

Mid-managers in some departments create a highly competitive, toxic environment that fosters a lack of community.
Some of the employees are great but because nepotism and favortism are so rampant you have to follow whatever is being said by leaders - any other suggestions (even if you have more experience) are seen as disruptive and can result in a PIP even when merely suggested.
Those that I work with the most are not trained enough to answer the questions I have.

Coworkers are great when they are around. With the travel, that can take away a lot of time to talk. Departments are separated so there is little contact between IT and the CS.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Very fast pace, lots of opportunity
Hard work is recognized and rewarded
Very understanding and helpful when needed
they push for the best, but have toxic sales that support and services have to clean up.
Review from Customer Success Dept
Every employee is valued and made to feel at home. Concerns are addressed quickly. Highly motivational. Books are open for all.

Make sure team leaders treat their team with respect
Review from Customer Success Dept
Hire people based on skill, not relationship to department leads. Family should not be allowed to report up through to each other. Manager training needs to be required. Don’t promote and reward people who have been recently reported for sexual harassment, harassment, bullying or illegal activitie
People are allowed to publicly shame in meetings and in slack managers have inappropriate reprimanding conversations. People's relatives and best friends are allowed to report to their direct reports fostering a culture of unchecked harassment.
Give us more complete training

You get to meet lots of people
Fast but it is unfair.
Directly interacting with the leaders and receiving feedback without delay
Review from Customer Support Dept
It was very smooth and easy
I interviewed with several different people during the process and gave me insight into the company.
The interview process was long and stressful
Clear communication of steps need to be outlined at the beginning.
The interview process was disorganized and chaotic but not horrible. The issue is that family members, spouses or friends are often hired even when they have no related experience. People are underhired if they don’t have Cvent-specific experience. Men are paid way more than wome
Anything where they actually told the truth. the contract locks you in for TWO years and you will have to pay them up to $7,500 if you leave prior to that time frame ending.

Flexibilty, cool projects and opportunity
I like being challenged and feeling like I am impacting hospitality industry positively which is important to me
Versatility of my role that keeps me conscious to learn new things every day
Review from Customer Support Dept
The work, the shift timings, the compensation, the perks, the food everything is awesome
New day new responsibilities is what excites me
Sexual harassment and other harassment needs to be dealt with by HR. Family should not be allowed to be in the direct management line of each other. Annual reviews should be based on skills that align with the job, not a secondary non-job related list. People with outside experience need to be hired
Toxic culture unless you are in the HQ.

Too much work with too little help.
